ACC Honors Turkish Ambassador in Recognition of His Efforts to Strengthen Economic Relations

The Amman Chamber of Commerce honored the Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Jordan, Yakup Caymazoğlu, on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in Jordan, in recognition of the efforts he made during his tenure to strengthen cooperation and friendship between the two countries, particularly in the economic sphere.
During a meeting held at the Chamber’s premises, Chamber Chairman Khalil Al-Haj Tawfiq emphasized the depth of the relations between Jordan and Türkiye and the importance of continuing to build on them in ways that serve the two countries’ shared interests and open broader prospects for their respective business communities.
Al-Hajj Tawfiq praised Ambassador Caymazoğlu’s role in strengthening communication between the Amman Chamber of Commerce, the Turkish Embassy, and Turkish private-sector institutions. He also commended the ambassador’s commitment to supporting initiatives and meetings aimed at developing trade and investment relations and expanding channels of communication among businesspeople.
During the meeting, which was attended by First Deputy Chamber Chairman Nabil Al-Khatib, Board Treasurer Khattab Al-Banna, and Board Member Falah Al-Saghir, Al-Hajj Tawfiq noted that there are extensive opportunities to build upon in the coming period to strengthen cooperation between the Jordanian and Turkish private sectors, increase trade and investment, encourage partnerships between companies, exchange delegations, organize business meetings, and benefit from the expertise and capabilities available in both countries.
For his part, Ambassador Caymazoğlu expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and the Amman Chamber of Commerce for the extensive cooperation he experienced during his tenure at the Turkish Embassy in Amman. He praised the level of cooperation and coordination extended to the embassy by both chambers, as well as their continued commitment to supporting its efforts and initiatives aimed at developing economic and trade relations between Jordan and Türkiye.
He also praised the level of cooperation he received from various Jordanian institutions in both the public and private sectors, emphasizing that this cooperation helped facilitate the embassy’s mission, strengthen communication between the two countries’ business communities, and open additional channels for economic and investment cooperation.
Caymazoğlu expressed his confidence that Jordanian-Turkish relations will continue to develop at an accelerated pace in the coming period and will see further progress across various fields, particularly trade, economics, and investment. He also expressed confidence that communication and cooperation between Jordanian and Turkish businesspeople will continue and deepen, contributing to increased joint investment and the establishment of more partnerships between the private sectors of the two countries.
The ambassador specifically thanked and praised the Chamber’s president and board members for the cooperation and continuous communication he received from them on the various topics and issues raised during his tenure. He commended the Chamber’s role in strengthening bridges of communication between the Jordanian and Turkish business communities.
Caymazoğlu expressed his confidence that the incoming Turkish ambassador will build upon what has been achieved and make outstanding efforts, with the same pace and spirit, to support and strengthen trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Jordan and Türkiye in a manner that serves the shared interests of both countries.
For their part, members of the Chamber’s Board of Directors expressed their appreciation for Ambassador Caymazoğlu and for the cooperation and openness he demonstrated toward the business community during his tenure in the Kingdom. They stressed the importance of maintaining institutional communication with the embassy and Turkish private-sector institutions and building upon the relationships and partnerships that have been established.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman and members of the Amman Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors presented Ambassador Caymazoğlu with a commemorative shield in recognition of his efforts and cooperation during his tenure in the Kingdom. They wished him success in his future assignments, emphasizing that the end of his diplomatic mission in Jordan does not mean the end of the friendships and relationships of communication that were formed during his time in the Kingdom.
